Dan Sevigny

Dan and his wife, Jennifer, are the founders of Sanctus Ranch.  Along with their six children, they have built a retreat center in the foothills of the Hill Country outside San Antonio, TX.  Purchased in 2016, Sanctus Ranch has been host to thousands of people who ‘retreat from the world’ and deepen their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

In 2023, while his children were attending a local Catholic School, he received word of a staggering increase to the tuition for his children.  This increase priced his family out of a catholic education for his remaining school-aged children.  Discussions with other parents of that school led to the idea of establishing a private micro-school at Sanctus Ranch.

Committed to a school that focused on Classical Education, Whole Person Learning and the unapologetically catholic formation of students, Lumen Christi Academy was opened on September 5th, 2023.

Prior to the Lord’s call to open this retreat center, and now a school, Dan was a successful business owner and trainer.  The author of The 9-Step Selling Process, Dan has trained business owners and staff on the art of wants-based selling and business profitability for over 10 years.  He was a successful Insurance Agent and Financial Advisor before opening his software and coaching company.

Having spent many years in Youth Ministry, Dan has always had a passion for helping to form the young mind to follow Christ.  He brings this passion and his experience to the role of President.
