Rev. Fr. Donald Kloster

Fr. Donald Kloster is a priest of the Diocese of Bridgeport, CT.  He was ordained on July 1, 1995 at St. Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport.  Fr. Kloster is a graduate of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, PA with an MDiv.  He completed his MA thesis in Moral Theology defending the Death Penalty.

Fr. Kloster has served as a VA contract chaplain for Audie Murphy and the Kerrville VA 2003-2011.  He was a missionary pastor of a large poorer Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of Guayaquil Ecuador 2011-2018.  To date, Fr. Kloster has served as a priest in 5 different Dioceses and has lived in 4 countries total.

Fr. Kloster has said the TLM for 22 of his 28 years as a priest.  He completed 2 National Studies on the TLM (2018 and 2019).  He has said the TLM exclusively for almost 8 years now and has had 29 young men and women in spiritual direction discerning a vocation; all but 1 were attached to the TLM.

Throughout his priesthood Fr. Kloster has been a teacher.  He taught religion in two Catholic schools; at Our Lady of the Atonement in San Antonio for 2 years and St. Mary’s in Norwalk for 2 years.
