Jennifer Sevigny

Lower School Educator

Jennifer Sevigny is a wife and mother of their six children. She has recently been blessed to become a grandmother. 

A native Texan, born at Lackland Air Force while her parents were both on active duty. Jennifer spent her childhood and teenage years growing up in New Hampshire. She attended a combination of Catholic and public schools during her primary years. She graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1995, with a Bachelor's Degree in Social and Rehabilitation Services and a  Concentration in Elementary Education. In 1998, she received her Master's Degree from Rivier College in Nashua, New Hampshire. Her graduate degree is in Educational Disabilities with a Certificate in Learning Disabilities. 

Jennifer spent her first years in education as a special education teacher. She worked with students who were deaf and hard of hearing, as well as a grade-level special education teacher. After many joy-filled years of teaching, Jennifer and her husband began their family, and she was blessed to stay home to raise their children. She continued to teach by homeschooling their older girls for a short time, and then volunteered at the Catholic school their children attended. At St. Casimir's Catholic school, she taught art to four out of eight grades. She also taught the writing process and creative writing to third through fifth grade. 

Jennifer is passionate about helping students learn in a manner that best suits their learning style and believes that all students can achieve greatness when given the proper tools. She takes a whole-person approach to teaching.
